Daikin Applied MicroTech Chiller Controller (Trailblazer AGZ-F, Magnitude WMC-E, WMT) BACnet points list

Updated 28 October 2026

Short answer

This MicroTech controller generation serves the AGZ-F, WMC-E and WMT chillers and talks BACnet MS/TP, BACnet IP or Modbus through its communication module. Besides the usual water temperatures, refrigerant pressures, run hours and network setpoints, it adds alarm module ID, type and payload values for fault, problem and warning alarms, a heat setpoint and a refrigerant type readout.

This page lists 97 BACnet objects for the Daikin Applied MicroTech Chiller Controller (Trailblazer AGZ-F, Magnitude WMC-E, WMT) — 8 of them writable — with each object’s type, instance number, name, engineering units and access. It is re-typed from Daikin Applied’s own free documentation, linked below.

BMS integration notes: Daikin Applied MicroTech Chiller Controller (Trailblazer AGZ-F, Magnitude WMC-E, WMT)

Integration in brief

Set Control Source to BAS at the chiller HMI, then use ChillerEnableStp to enable the chiller and write the cool (or heat/ice) setpoint, mode and capacity limit. Monitor unit status, water temperatures, capacity and the alarm index/module objects.

Minimum points to map

The short list most integrators start with — enough to run the unit from a BMS. Map more as the job needs.

Enable & remote start

For AGZ-F, WMC-E and WMT, Control Source must be set to BAS at the unit HMI before the controller uses Network Enable (BV 2), the cool/heat/ice setpoints, the mode setpoint and the capacity limit from the BAS.

Integration notes

Check it against the live device. A points list tells you what the controller can expose; the unit in front of you may differ by firmware or installed options. Easy BACnet scans a network for BACnet IP devices from an Android phone, reads every object on the MicroTech Chiller Controller (Trailblazer AGZ-F, Magnitude WMC-E, WMT) and exports what it actually has to Excel — free. New to BACnet? Start with what a BACnet points list is and what the object types mean.

Questions about the Daikin Applied MicroTech Chiller Controller (Trailblazer AGZ-F, Magnitude WMC-E, WMT)

How many BACnet points does the Daikin Applied MicroTech Chiller Controller (Trailblazer AGZ-F, Magnitude WMC-E, WMT) have?

This list has 97 BACnet objects: 31 analog inputs, 45 analog values, 14 binary inputs, 2 binary values, 5 multi-state values. The exact set on a given unit depends on its firmware, installed options and configuration.

Which Daikin Applied MicroTech Chiller Controller (Trailblazer AGZ-F, Magnitude WMC-E, WMT) BACnet points are writable?

8 of the 97 objects accept a write. Points marked Command have a priority array: a write holds until it is released, so release it back to automatic when you are done.

Where is the official Daikin Applied MicroTech Chiller Controller (Trailblazer AGZ-F, Magnitude WMC-E, WMT) BACnet documentation?

The source is MicroTech Unit Controller Protocol Information (Chiller Models AGZ-F, WMC-E, and WMT) (ED 19131-1), revision 2026-04, published free by Daikin Applied at https://tahoeweb.daikinapplied.com/api/general/DownloadDocumentByName/media/ED%2019131-1.pdf/.

What are the minimum BACnet points to integrate the Daikin Applied MicroTech Chiller Controller (Trailblazer AGZ-F, Magnitude WMC-E, WMT)?

Start with BV 2 ChillerEnableStp (Network enable/disable of the chiller); MV 3 ChillerOperationMode (Ice / cool / heat / heat recovery mode command); AV 4 NetworkCoolTempSetpoint (Leaving water cool setpoint from the BMS); AV 3 NetworkCapacityLimitPct (Capacity limit from the BMS); BV 8 ClearAlarm (Clear alarms from the network); BI 3 ChillerLocalRemote (Shows whether network control is active); MV 1 UnitStatus (Chiller run state); AI 2 LvgEvapWaterTempUnit (Leaving chilled water temperature); AV 2 ChillerCapacity (Actual capacity in percent); AV 901 AVFaultAlarm (Active fault alarm index).

How do I enable BMS control of the Daikin Applied MicroTech Chiller Controller (Trailblazer AGZ-F, Magnitude WMC-E, WMT)?

For AGZ-F, WMC-E and WMT, Control Source must be set to BAS at the unit HMI before the controller uses Network Enable (BV 2), the cool/heat/ice setpoints, the mode setpoint and the capacity limit from the BAS.

How do I check these points on the real MicroTech Chiller Controller (Trailblazer AGZ-F, Magnitude WMC-E, WMT)?

Scan the network with a BACnet IP browser such as Easy BACnet, open the device and compare its object list with this table. Anything missing is usually an option that isn't installed or a point that is disabled in the controller's configuration.
