Intesis INBACPAN016O000 / 064O000 / 128O000 (Panasonic VRF P-Link BACnet server) BACnet points list

Updated 28 October 2026

Short answer

An Intesis BACnet server connected to the Panasonic P-Link bus that publishes each configured outdoor and indoor unit as BACnet objects, plus 'all units' commands. The 16 and 64 unit models support BACnet IP and MS/TP; the 128 unit model is BACnet IP only. Instance numbers come from fixed formulas on line, outdoor and indoor address.

This page lists 55 BACnet objects for the Intesis INBACPAN016O000 / 064O000 / 128O000 (Panasonic VRF P-Link BACnet server) — 20 of them writable — with each object’s type, instance number, name, engineering units and access. It is re-typed from Intesis’s own free documentation, linked below.

BMS integration notes: Intesis INBACPAN016O000 / 064O000 / 128O000 (Panasonic VRF P-Link BACnet server)

Integration in brief

Wire Port A to the P-Link terminals of the outdoor unit (on the 128 model Port B takes a second P-Link line), configure the units in Intesis MAPS and send the project, then map each indoor unit's _C/_S objects from its FI block. Use the 'all units' objects for global commands.

Minimum points to map

The short list most integrators start with — enough to run the unit from a BMS. Map more as the job needs.

Enable & remote start

No enable point is documented; remote-controller permissions can be removed with the Allow ... from RC_C objects.

Sensors & values from the BMS

Enable virtual temperature for the unit in Intesis MAPS, then write the BMS room temperature to LXOXXUXX_Bacnet ambient temperature (AO FI+3). The gateway recalculates the setpoint it sends, so Setpoint_S can differ from Setpoint_C. Intesis advises using this only when the gateway is the sole source of setpoint changes.

Integration notes

Check it against the live device. A points list tells you what the controller can expose; the unit in front of you may differ by firmware or installed options. Easy BACnet scans a network for BACnet IP devices from an Android phone, reads every object on the INBACPAN016O000 / 064O000 / 128O000 (Panasonic VRF P-Link BACnet server) and exports what it actually has to Excel — free. New to BACnet? Start with what a BACnet points list is and what the object types mean.

Questions about the Intesis INBACPAN016O000 / 064O000 / 128O000 (Panasonic VRF P-Link BACnet server)

How many BACnet points does the Intesis INBACPAN016O000 / 064O000 / 128O000 (Panasonic VRF P-Link BACnet server) have?

This list has 55 BACnet objects: 22 analog inputs, 6 analog outputs, 8 binary inputs, 7 binary outputs, 5 multi-state inputs, 7 multi-state outputs. The exact set on a given unit depends on its firmware, installed options and configuration.

Which Intesis INBACPAN016O000 / 064O000 / 128O000 (Panasonic VRF P-Link BACnet server) BACnet points are writable?

20 of the 55 objects accept a write. Points marked Command have a priority array: a write holds until it is released, so release it back to automatic when you are done.

Where is the official Intesis INBACPAN016O000 / 064O000 / 128O000 (Panasonic VRF P-Link BACnet server) BACnet documentation?

The source is Intesis BACnet Server - Panasonic VRF User's Manual, revision 04/2020 r1.2, published free by Intesis at https://www.hms-networks.com/docs/default-source/products/intesis/manuals-and-guides---manuals/user-manual-inbacpanxxxo000.pdf.

What are the minimum BACnet points to integrate the Intesis INBACPAN016O000 / 064O000 / 128O000 (Panasonic VRF P-Link BACnet server)?

Start with BO 100 LXOXXUXX_On/Off_C (Start/stop indoor unit); MO 100 LXOXXUXX_Mode_C (Mode command); AO 100 LXOXXUXX_Setpoint_C (Setpoint command); MO 101 LXOXXUXX_FanSpeed_C (Fan speed command (1 = auto)); BI 100 LXOXXUXX_On/Off_S (Run status); AI 100 LXOXXUXX_Setpoint_S (Setpoint in use); AI 101 LXOXXUXX_Room Temperature (Room (return air) temperature); BI 103 LXOXXUXX_Communication Error IU (Unit offline alarm); AI 114 LXOXXUXX_Unit Error Code (Fault code).

How do I enable BMS control of the Intesis INBACPAN016O000 / 064O000 / 128O000 (Panasonic VRF P-Link BACnet server)?

No enable point is documented; remote-controller permissions can be removed with the Allow ... from RC_C objects.

Can the BMS supply sensor values to the Intesis INBACPAN016O000 / 064O000 / 128O000 (Panasonic VRF P-Link BACnet server)?

Enable virtual temperature for the unit in Intesis MAPS, then write the BMS room temperature to LXOXXUXX_Bacnet ambient temperature (AO FI+3). The gateway recalculates the setpoint it sends, so Setpoint_S can differ from Setpoint_C. Intesis advises using this only when the gateway is the sole source of setpoint changes.

How do I check these points on the real INBACPAN016O000 / 064O000 / 128O000 (Panasonic VRF P-Link BACnet server)?

Scan the network with a BACnet IP browser such as Easy BACnet, open the device and compare its object list with this table. Anything missing is usually an option that isn't installed or a point that is disabled in the controller's configuration.
