Intesis IN485FGL001I000 (Fujitsu gateway) BACnet points list

Updated 28 October 2026

Short answer

A one-unit Intesis interface for Fujitsu residential and VRF indoor units that speaks BACnet MS/TP or Modbus RTU (DIP-selectable). It exposes 38 fixed objects including left/right louvres, economy mode, room freeze protection, occupancy logic and a virtual-temperature function for a BMS room sensor.

This page lists 38 BACnet objects for the Intesis IN485FGL001I000 (Fujitsu gateway) — 19 of them writable — with each object’s type, instance number, name, engineering units and access. It is re-typed from Intesis’s own free documentation, linked below.

BMS integration notes: Intesis IN485FGL001I000 (Fujitsu gateway)

Integration in brief

Connect the gateway to the indoor unit (supplied AC connection cable), set the BACnet network on its DIP switches, then write the _command objects (on/off, mode, setpoint, fan) and read back the matching _status objects. One gateway serves one indoor unit (or one remote-controller group), so give each gateway its own MAC address and device instance.

Minimum points to map

The short list most integrators start with — enough to run the unit from a BMS. Map more as the job needs.

ObjectNameWhyAccess
BO 0OnOff_commandStart/stop the indoor unitCommand
MO 0Mode_commandHeat/cool/fan/dry/auto selectionCommand
AO 0Setpoint_commandTemperature setpoint from the BMSCommand
MO 1FanSpeed_commandFan speed selectionCommand
BI 0OnOff_statusConfirm the unit is runningRead
AI 0SetPoint_statusSetpoint the unit is really usingRead
AI 1RoomTemperature_statusRoom/return temperature for trendingRead
BI 1ErrorActiveUnit alarmRead
AI 2ErrorCodeWhich fault is activeRead

Enable & remote start

No enable point or BMS/local switch is documented; the gateway accepts BACnet commands as soon as it is communicating with the unit. A wired remote controller can still be used in parallel; MO 5 RemoteControllerProhibit_command locks it.

Sensors & values from the BMS

Write the BMS setpoint to AO 0 Setpoint_command and the BMS room temperature to AO 1 RoomTemperature_command. Once both are valid the Virtual Temperature function starts and the setpoint sent to the unit becomes unit temperature - (BMS temperature - BMS setpoint). BI 14 VirtualTempActive shows it is running and AI 17 UserSetPoint_status shows the BMS setpoint. At start-up AO 1 is UNRELIABLE_OTHER until the first write.

Integration notes

Check it against the live device. A points list tells you what the controller can expose; the unit in front of you may differ by firmware or installed options. Easy BACnet scans a network for BACnet IP devices from an Android phone, reads every object on the IN485FGL001I000 (Fujitsu gateway) and exports what it actually has to Excel — free. New to BACnet? Start with what a BACnet points list is and what the object types mean.

Questions about the Intesis IN485FGL001I000 (Fujitsu gateway)

How many BACnet points does the Intesis IN485FGL001I000 (Fujitsu gateway) have?

This list has 38 BACnet objects: 7 analog inputs, 2 analog outputs, 5 analog values, 5 binary inputs, 3 binary outputs, 2 binary values, 7 multi-state inputs, 6 multi-state outputs, 1 multi-state value. The exact set on a given unit depends on its firmware, installed options and configuration.

Which Intesis IN485FGL001I000 (Fujitsu gateway) BACnet points are writable?

19 of the 38 objects accept a write. Points marked Command have a priority array: a write holds until it is released, so release it back to automatic when you are done.

Where is the official Intesis IN485FGL001I000 (Fujitsu gateway) BACnet documentation?

The source is IN485FGL001I000 Gateway - Fujitsu Residential and VRF Systems to BACnet MS/TP and Modbus RTU - User Manual, revision 2026-04-17 v1.0.14, published free by Intesis at https://www.hms-networks.com/docs/default-source/products/intesis/manuals-and-guides---manuals/user_manual_in485fgl001i000.pdf.

What are the minimum BACnet points to integrate the Intesis IN485FGL001I000 (Fujitsu gateway)?

Start with BO 0 OnOff_command (Start/stop the indoor unit); MO 0 Mode_command (Heat/cool/fan/dry/auto selection); AO 0 Setpoint_command (Temperature setpoint from the BMS); MO 1 FanSpeed_command (Fan speed selection); BI 0 OnOff_status (Confirm the unit is running); AI 0 SetPoint_status (Setpoint the unit is really using); AI 1 RoomTemperature_status (Room/return temperature for trending); BI 1 ErrorActive (Unit alarm); AI 2 ErrorCode (Which fault is active).

How do I enable BMS control of the Intesis IN485FGL001I000 (Fujitsu gateway)?

No enable point or BMS/local switch is documented; the gateway accepts BACnet commands as soon as it is communicating with the unit. A wired remote controller can still be used in parallel; MO 5 RemoteControllerProhibit_command locks it.

Can the BMS supply sensor values to the Intesis IN485FGL001I000 (Fujitsu gateway)?

Write the BMS setpoint to AO 0 Setpoint_command and the BMS room temperature to AO 1 RoomTemperature_command. Once both are valid the Virtual Temperature function starts and the setpoint sent to the unit becomes unit temperature - (BMS temperature - BMS setpoint). BI 14 VirtualTempActive shows it is running and AI 17 UserSetPoint_status shows the BMS setpoint. At start-up AO 1 is UNRELIABLE_OTHER until the first write.

How do I check these points on the real IN485FGL001I000 (Fujitsu gateway)?

Scan the network with a BACnet IP browser such as Easy BACnet, open the device and compare its object list with this table. Anything missing is usually an option that isn't installed or a point that is disabled in the controller's configuration.
