Intesis INBACHIT016O000 / INBACHIT064O000 (Hitachi VRF H-Link BACnet server) BACnet points list

Updated 28 October 2026

Short answer

An Intesis BACnet server that connects to the Hitachi H-Link bus at the outdoor unit and publishes every configured indoor and outdoor unit as BACnet IP and BACnet MS/TP objects. Each indoor unit gets the same block of objects at a base instance of (unit index x 100); outdoor units get (address x 25) + 1000. Configuration is done with the Intesis MAPS tool.

This page lists 51 BACnet objects for the Intesis INBACHIT016O000 / INBACHIT064O000 (Hitachi VRF H-Link BACnet server) — 16 of them writable — with each object’s type, instance number, name, engineering units and access. It is re-typed from Intesis’s own free documentation, linked below.

BMS integration notes: Intesis INBACHIT016O000 / INBACHIT064O000 (Hitachi VRF H-Link BACnet server)

Integration in brief

Wire the gateway's Port A to the H-Link TB2 terminals, scan or enter the indoor/outdoor units in Intesis MAPS, send the configuration, then map each unit's _C command and _S status objects from its instance block. The 'all units' objects at instances 0-2 command every unit at once.

Minimum points to map

The short list most integrators start with — enough to run the unit from a BMS. Map more as the job needs.

Integration notes

Check it against the live device. A points list tells you what the controller can expose; the unit in front of you may differ by firmware or installed options. Easy BACnet scans a network for BACnet IP devices from an Android phone, reads every object on the INBACHIT016O000 / INBACHIT064O000 (Hitachi VRF H-Link BACnet server) and exports what it actually has to Excel — free. New to BACnet? Start with what a BACnet points list is and what the object types mean.

Questions about the Intesis INBACHIT016O000 / INBACHIT064O000 (Hitachi VRF H-Link BACnet server)

How many BACnet points does the Intesis INBACHIT016O000 / INBACHIT064O000 (Hitachi VRF H-Link BACnet server) have?

This list has 51 BACnet objects: 19 analog inputs, 2 analog outputs, 10 binary inputs, 7 binary outputs, 6 multi-state inputs, 7 multi-state outputs. The exact set on a given unit depends on its firmware, installed options and configuration.

Which Intesis INBACHIT016O000 / INBACHIT064O000 (Hitachi VRF H-Link BACnet server) BACnet points are writable?

16 of the 51 objects accept a write. Points marked Command have a priority array: a write holds until it is released, so release it back to automatic when you are done.

Where is the official Intesis INBACHIT016O000 / INBACHIT064O000 (Hitachi VRF H-Link BACnet server) BACnet documentation?

The source is Intesis BACnet Server - Hitachi VRF User's Manual, revision 2022/06 r1.2, published free by Intesis at https://www.hms-networks.com/docs/default-source/products/intesis/manuals-and-guides---manuals/user-manual-inbachitxxxo000.pdf.

What are the minimum BACnet points to integrate the Intesis INBACHIT016O000 / INBACHIT064O000 (Hitachi VRF H-Link BACnet server)?

Start with BO 100 OxxUxxOn/Off_C (Start/stop indoor unit); MO 100 OxxUxxMode_C (Mode command); AO 100 OxxUxxSetpoint_C (Setpoint command); MO 101 OxxUxxFanSpeed_C (Fan speed command (1 = auto)); BI 100 OxxUxxOn/Off_S (Run status); AI 100 OxxUxxSetpoint_S (Setpoint in use); AI 102 OxxUxxInlet Temp. (Return air temperature); BI 102 OxxUxxCommunication Status (Unit present on H-Link); AI 106 OxxUxxUnit Error code (Fault code).

How do I enable BMS control of the Intesis INBACHIT016O000 / INBACHIT064O000 (Hitachi VRF H-Link BACnet server)?

No enable point is documented. Remote-controller permissions can be removed per unit with the Allow ... from RC_C objects (BO 102-105).

How do I check these points on the real INBACHIT016O000 / INBACHIT064O000 (Hitachi VRF H-Link BACnet server)?

Scan the network with a BACnet IP browser such as Easy BACnet, open the device and compare its object list with this table. Anything missing is usually an option that isn't installed or a point that is disabled in the controller's configuration.
