Intesis INBACMIT001I000 (Mitsubishi Electric gateway) BACnet points list

Updated 28 October 2026

Short answer

A one-unit Intesis interface that plugs into the CN105 socket of a Mitsubishi Electric indoor unit and serves it as BACnet MS/TP or BACnet IP. It exposes 23 fixed objects for on/off, mode, setpoint, fan, vane, room temperature, error codes, run hours, occupancy logic and remote lock.

This page lists 23 BACnet objects for the Intesis INBACMIT001I000 (Mitsubishi Electric gateway) — 9 of them writable — with each object’s type, instance number, name, engineering units and access. It is re-typed from Intesis’s own free documentation, linked below.

BMS integration notes: Intesis INBACMIT001I000 (Mitsubishi Electric gateway)

Integration in brief

Connect the gateway to the indoor unit (supplied 1.5 m cable into the CN105 socket (CN92 on some units)), set the BACnet network on its DIP switches, then write the _command objects (on/off, mode, setpoint, fan) and read back the matching _status objects. One gateway serves one indoor unit (or one remote-controller group), so give each gateway its own MAC address and device instance.

Minimum points to map

The short list most integrators start with — enough to run the unit from a BMS. Map more as the job needs.

ObjectNameWhyAccess
BO 0OnOff_commandStart/stop the indoor unitCommand
MO 0Mode_commandHeat/cool/fan/dry/auto selectionCommand
AO 0SetPoint_commandTemperature setpoint from the BMSCommand
MO 1FanSpeed_commandFan speed selectionCommand
BI 0OnOff_statusConfirm the unit is runningRead
AI 0SetPoint_statusSetpoint the unit is really usingRead
AI 1Room TemperatureRoom/return temperature for trendingRead
BI 1ErrorActiveUnit alarmRead
AI 2ErrorCodeWhich fault is activeRead

Enable & remote start

No enable point or BMS/local switch is documented; the gateway accepts BACnet commands as soon as it is communicating with the unit. A wired remote controller can still be used in parallel; BV 2 LockRemoteControl locks it.

Integration notes

Check it against the live device. A points list tells you what the controller can expose; the unit in front of you may differ by firmware or installed options. Easy BACnet scans a network for BACnet IP devices from an Android phone, reads every object on the INBACMIT001I000 (Mitsubishi Electric gateway) and exports what it actually has to Excel — free. New to BACnet? Start with what a BACnet points list is and what the object types mean.

Questions about the Intesis INBACMIT001I000 (Mitsubishi Electric gateway)

How many BACnet points does the Intesis INBACMIT001I000 (Mitsubishi Electric gateway) have?

This list has 23 BACnet objects: 3 analog inputs, 1 analog output, 5 analog values, 2 binary inputs, 1 binary output, 3 binary values, 4 multi-state inputs, 3 multi-state outputs, 1 multi-state value. The exact set on a given unit depends on its firmware, installed options and configuration.

Which Intesis INBACMIT001I000 (Mitsubishi Electric gateway) BACnet points are writable?

9 of the 23 objects accept a write. Points marked Command have a priority array: a write holds until it is released, so release it back to automatic when you are done.

Where is the official Intesis INBACMIT001I000 (Mitsubishi Electric gateway) BACnet documentation?

The source is Intesis BACnet - Mitsubishi Electric AC User Manual (INBACMIT001I000) (ME-AC-BAC-1 (legacy code)), revision 11/2024 v1.7, published free by Intesis at https://www.hms-networks.com/docs/default-source/products/intesis/manuals-and-guides---manuals/user-manual-inbacmit001i000.pdf.

What are the minimum BACnet points to integrate the Intesis INBACMIT001I000 (Mitsubishi Electric gateway)?

Start with BO 0 OnOff_command (Start/stop the indoor unit); MO 0 Mode_command (Heat/cool/fan/dry/auto selection); AO 0 SetPoint_command (Temperature setpoint from the BMS); MO 1 FanSpeed_command (Fan speed selection); BI 0 OnOff_status (Confirm the unit is running); AI 0 SetPoint_status (Setpoint the unit is really using); AI 1 Room Temperature (Room/return temperature for trending); BI 1 ErrorActive (Unit alarm); AI 2 ErrorCode (Which fault is active).

How do I enable BMS control of the Intesis INBACMIT001I000 (Mitsubishi Electric gateway)?

No enable point or BMS/local switch is documented; the gateway accepts BACnet commands as soon as it is communicating with the unit. A wired remote controller can still be used in parallel; BV 2 LockRemoteControl locks it.

How do I check these points on the real INBACMIT001I000 (Mitsubishi Electric gateway)?

Scan the network with a BACnet IP browser such as Easy BACnet, open the device and compare its object list with this table. Anything missing is usually an option that isn't installed or a point that is disabled in the controller's configuration.
