Neptronic SKRO BACnet points list

Updated 28 October 2026

Short answer

The SKRO produces purified water for humidifiers. Its controller offers BACnet MS/TP and BACnet IP, mostly for monitoring: state, system alarm, pressures and conductivity, valves and motor, service counters, plus a request object and email notification settings.

This page lists 87 BACnet objects for the Neptronic SKRO — 50 of them writable — with each object’s type, instance number, name, engineering units and access. It is re-typed from Neptronic’s own free documentation, linked below.

BMS integration notes: Neptronic SKRO

Integration in brief

Mostly a monitoring integration: read the SKRO state (MSV 141), system alarm (MSV 142), interlock and network timeout status. Few control writes are exposed; most objects are read-only in this guide.

Minimum points to map

The short list most integrators start with — enough to run the unit from a BMS. Map more as the job needs.

ObjectNameWhyAccess
MV 5System Power StateSystem on (1) or off (0)Read
MV 141StateOperating stateRead
BV 19InterlockInterlock open (1) or closed (0)Read
MV 142System AlarmActive alarm (0 = Normal)Read
BV 68Network Timeout Failsafe1 = BACnet network timeout activeWrite

Heartbeat & communication loss

The guide lists BV 71 BACnet Network Timeout (Off/On) and BV 68 Network Timeout Failsafe (0 = Ok, 1 = Timeout) but does not describe the timeout length or the resulting action.

Integration notes

Check it against the live device. A points list tells you what the controller can expose; the unit in front of you may differ by firmware or installed options. Easy BACnet scans a network for BACnet IP devices from an Android phone, reads every object on the SKRO and exports what it actually has to Excel — free. New to BACnet? Start with what a BACnet points list is and what the object types mean.

Questions about the Neptronic SKRO

How many BACnet points does the Neptronic SKRO have?

This list has 87 BACnet objects: 5 analog inputs, 17 analog values, 7 binary outputs, 22 binary values, 5 files, 9 multi-state values, 7 characterstring values, 15 others. The exact set on a given unit depends on its firmware, installed options and configuration.

Which Neptronic SKRO BACnet points are writable?

50 of the 87 objects accept a write. Points marked Command have a priority array: a write holds until it is released, so release it back to automatic when you are done.

Where is the official Neptronic SKRO BACnet documentation?

The source is SKRO Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment Unit BACnet Communication Module User Guide (SKRO-BACnet Guide-250913 (V1.0)), revision 2025-09-13, published free by Neptronic at https://www.neptronic.com/Humidifiers/PDF/2025/SKRO-BACnet%20Guide-250913%20(V1.0).pdf.

What are the minimum BACnet points to integrate the Neptronic SKRO?

Start with MV 5 System Power State (System on (1) or off (0)); MV 141 State (Operating state); BV 19 Interlock (Interlock open (1) or closed (0)); MV 142 System Alarm (Active alarm (0 = Normal)); BV 68 Network Timeout Failsafe (1 = BACnet network timeout active).

Does the Neptronic SKRO need a BACnet heartbeat or have a communication timeout?

The guide lists BV 71 BACnet Network Timeout (Off/On) and BV 68 Network Timeout Failsafe (0 = Ok, 1 = Timeout) but does not describe the timeout length or the resulting action.

How do I check these points on the real SKRO?

Scan the network with a BACnet IP browser such as Easy BACnet, open the device and compare its object list with this table. Anything missing is usually an option that isn't installed or a point that is disabled in the controller's configuration.
