WaterFurnace Envision Single Compressor Water-to-Water Heat Pump (FX10) BACnet points list

Updated 28 October 2026

Short answer

BACnet objects for WaterFurnace's single-compressor Envision water-to-water heat pump on the FX10 controller. The BAS sends the compressor (Y1) and reversing valve calls and can shut the unit down or reset lockouts. Statuses (compressor, valve, accessory outputs, flow switches, alarm) are multistate inputs, and AI14 gives an alarm code.

This page lists 24 BACnet objects for the WaterFurnace Envision Single Compressor Water-to-Water Heat Pump (FX10) — 4 of them writable — with each object’s type, instance number, name, engineering units and access. It is re-typed from WaterFurnace’s own free documentation, linked below.

BMS integration notes: WaterFurnace Envision Single Compressor Water-to-Water Heat Pump (FX10)

Integration in brief

The BAS stages this unit directly with MO1 (compressor Y1 call) and MO2 (reversing valve). MO3 gives a network emergency shutdown and MO5 resets lockouts. Supervise it with the load water temperatures, MI1 mode and the AI14 alarm code.

Minimum points to map

The short list most integrators start with — enough to run the unit from a BMS. Map more as the job needs.

MO 1Compressor EnableCompressor call (Y1)Write
MO 2Valve EnableHeating/cooling selectionWrite
MO 3Emerg OverrideNetwork emergency shutdownWrite

AI 4Leave Load tempLeaving load water temperatureRead
AI 14Alarms EnumeratedActive alarm codeRead

Enable & remote start

There is no internal temperature control or enable point: the unit runs only on external compressor (Y1) and reversing valve (O) calls, sent either at the terminal board or over the network. Emergency shutdown comes from MO3 Emerg Override (5=Shutdown) or a closed contact on BI-2.

Integration notes

Check it against the live device. A points list tells you what the controller can expose; the unit in front of you may differ by firmware or installed options. Easy BACnet scans a network for BACnet IP devices from an Android phone, reads every object on the Envision Single Compressor Water-to-Water Heat Pump (FX10) and exports what it actually has to Excel — free. Questions about the WaterFurnace Envision Single Compressor Water-to-Water Heat Pump (FX10)

How many BACnet points does the WaterFurnace Envision Single Compressor Water-to-Water Heat Pump (FX10) have?

This list has 24 BACnet objects: 9 analog inputs, 11 multi-state inputs, 4 multi-state outputs. The exact set on a given unit depends on its firmware, installed options and configuration.

Which WaterFurnace Envision Single Compressor Water-to-Water Heat Pump (FX10) BACnet points are writable?

4 of the 24 objects accept a write. Points marked Command have a priority array: a write holds until it is released, so release it back to automatic when you are done.

Where is the official WaterFurnace Envision Single Compressor Water-to-Water Heat Pump (FX10) BACnet documentation?

The source is BACnet Points List for Single Compressor Water to Water (PROSSWWE-01), published free by WaterFurnace at https://www.waterfurnace.com/downloads/ddc/BACnet-Resources/BACnet-points-pdfs/PROSSWWE-01.pdf.

What are the minimum BACnet points to integrate the WaterFurnace Envision Single Compressor Water-to-Water Heat Pump (FX10)?

Start with MO 1 Compressor Enable (Compressor call (Y1)); MO 2 Valve Enable (Heating/cooling selection); MO 3 Emerg Override (Network emergency shutdown); MO 5 Alarm Reset (Reset lockout alarms); MI 1 Mode of Operation (Auto or shutdown status); MI 2 Comp Cmd Status (Compressor commanded on/off); AI 3 Enter Load Temp (Entering load water temperature); AI 4 Leave Load temp (Leaving load water temperature); AI 14 Alarms Enumerated (Active alarm code).

How do I enable BMS control of the WaterFurnace Envision Single Compressor Water-to-Water Heat Pump (FX10)?

There is no internal temperature control or enable point: the unit runs only on external compressor (Y1) and reversing valve (O) calls, sent either at the terminal board or over the network. Emergency shutdown comes from MO3 Emerg Override (5=Shutdown) or a closed contact on BI-2.

How do I check these points on the real Envision Single Compressor Water-to-Water Heat Pump (FX10)?

Scan the network with a BACnet IP browser such as Easy BACnet, open the device and compare its object list with this table. Anything missing is usually an option that isn't installed or a point that is disabled in the controller's configuration.
