Schneider Electric Acti 9 iEM3165 / iEM3265 / iEM3365 energy meter (BACnet MS/TP) BACnet points list

Updated 28 October 2026

Short answer

The BACnet versions of the iEM3000 DIN-rail meters (iEM3165 63 A direct, iEM3265 CT-connected, iEM3365 125 A direct) are BACnet MS/TP B-ASC devices. They serve Analog Inputs for current, voltage, power, power factor, frequency, total, partial, per-phase and per-tariff energy, plus meter and I/O configuration readbacks; one Analog Value for commands; and seven Binary Inputs for I/O and the overload alarm. The iEM3165 and iEM3365 stop at AI 48; AI 49-55 (VT/CT settings) are iEM3265 only.

This page lists 64 BACnet objects for the Schneider Electric Acti 9 iEM3165 / iEM3265 / iEM3365 energy meter (BACnet MS/TP) — 1 of them writable — with each object’s type, instance number, name, engineering units and access. BMS integration notes: Schneider Electric Acti 9 iEM3165 / iEM3265 / iEM3365 energy meter (BACnet MS/TP)

Integration in brief

At the front panel set the MS/TP baud rate, MAC address and device ID, then read the energy import total (AI 27), total active power (AI 22), current, voltage and power factor. Read BI 05 if the overload alarm is used. Write AV00 only to reset partial counters or acknowledge alarms.

Minimum points to map

The short list most integrators start with — enough to run the unit from a BMS. Map more as the job needs.

Integration notes

Check it against the live device. A points list tells you what the controller can expose; the unit in front of you may differ by firmware or installed options. Easy BACnet scans a network for BACnet IP devices from an Android phone, reads every object on the Acti 9 iEM3165 / iEM3265 / iEM3365 energy meter (BACnet MS/TP) and exports what it actually has to Excel — free. New to BACnet? Start with what a BACnet points list is and what the object types mean.

Questions about the Schneider Electric Acti 9 iEM3165 / iEM3265 / iEM3365 energy meter (BACnet MS/TP)

How many BACnet points does the Schneider Electric Acti 9 iEM3165 / iEM3265 / iEM3365 energy meter (BACnet MS/TP) have?

This list has 64 BACnet objects: 56 analog inputs, 1 analog value, 7 binary inputs. The exact set on a given unit depends on its firmware, installed options and configuration.

Which Schneider Electric Acti 9 iEM3165 / iEM3265 / iEM3365 energy meter (BACnet MS/TP) BACnet points are writable?

1 of the 64 objects accept a write. Points marked Command have a priority array: a write holds until it is released, so release it back to automatic when you are done.

Where is the official Schneider Electric Acti 9 iEM3165 / iEM3265 / iEM3365 energy meter (BACnet MS/TP) BACnet documentation?
