Fujitsu UTY-VBGX BACnet Gateway for VRF BACnet points list
Updated 28 October 2026
The UTY-VBGX connects a Fujitsu Airstage VRF network to BACnet IP and creates a fixed set of objects for every indoor and outdoor unit it finds, plus gateway-wide batch commands. Object names and instances are built from the refrigerant system and unit addresses, so the instance number tells you which unit a point belongs to. Device name, instance and port are set with the Fujitsu configuration tool.
This page lists 55 BACnet objects for the Fujitsu UTY-VBGX BACnet Gateway for VRF — 25 of them writable — with each object’s type, instance number, name, engineering units and access. It is re-typed from Fujitsu’s own free documentation, linked below.

BMS integration notes: Fujitsu UTY-VBGX BACnet Gateway for VRF
Set the gateway IP, device instance and LON unit address with the Fujitsu configuration tool, scan the VRF network for units, and download the configuration. Each indoor unit then appears as a block of IU_rr_uu objects; map on/off, mode, setpoint, room temp and the error status first.
Minimum points to map
The short list most integrators start with — enough to run the unit from a BMS. Map more as the job needs.
| Object | Name | Why | Access |
|---|---|---|---|
| BO 100101 | IU_rr_uu_Operation_Setting | Start/stop the indoor unit | Command |
| MO 100101 | IU_rr_uu_OperationMode_Setting | Command the operating mode | Command |
| AO 100101 | IU_rr_uu_SetTemp_Setting | Setpoint command | Command |
| MO 110101 | IU_rr_uu_FanSpeed_Setting | Fan speed command | Command |
| BI 110101 | IU_rr_uu_Operation_Status | Confirm run status | Read |
| MI 100101 | IU_rr_uu_OperationMode_Status | Read back the mode | Read |
| AI 110101 | IU_rr_uu_SpaceTemp_Status | Room temperature | Read |
| BI 100101 | IU_rr_uu_Exists_Status | Shows whether the unit is present | Read |
| BI 150101 | IU_rr_uu_Error_Status | Indoor unit fault | Read |
| MI 150101 | IU_rr_uu_ErrorCode_Status | Error code (1-255) when a fault is active | Read |
Enable & remote start
No enable point is described. Remote controller prohibition is a 65-state multistate (IU_rr_uu_RC_Prohibit_Setting, or Batch_RC_Prohibition_Setting for all units) whose states combine filter reset, start, start/stop, mode, setpoint and timer lockouts, plus All. Outdoor units have a ForcedOff setting.
Network setup
- Default IP 192.168.100.144, mask 255.255.255.0, configuration password 'admin'.
- Default device instance 144 in the configuration tool (the object table shows 144000); give each gateway a unique value.
- UDP port 47808 by default; network role can be disabled, foreign device or BBMD.
- LON unit address of the gateway must be 92-95 and unique on the VRF network; temperature units (C/F) are chosen in the tool.
- A unit scan takes about 5-6 minutes; units can also be added manually.
Watch out for
- Outputs keep Priority_Array slots 1-15 empty and put the value in slot 16, so priority-based commanding may not behave as expected.
- State_Text cannot be read as a whole array; read each index separately.
- Input objects list Reliability as NO_FAULT_DETECTED or UNRELIABLE_OTHER; the manual does not say exactly when UNRELIABLE_OTHER is set.
- Error code meanings come from the manual's error tables for each series and may be added without notice.

Integration notes
- Indoor unit instances are TTrruu: TT = point code (10-17), rr = refrigerant system address (00-99), uu = indoor unit address (00-63). Instances here use rr=01, uu=01 (e.g. 100101).
- Outdoor unit instances are 30rruu-32rruu with uu = outdoor unit address (0-3). Gateway and batch objects use fixed low instances (0-2).
- The detailed object pages give different OU instances (ForcedOff_Setting 30rruu, CapacitySave_Status 32rruu, CapacitySave_Setting 33rruu) than the summary table used here; verify on site.
- The object table lists the device as 144000; the configuration tool section says the default Device Instance is 144. Each gateway needs a unique value.
- Outputs keep Priority_Array slots 1-15 empty and mirror Present_Value in slot 16; State_Text must be read one array index at a time.
- Error code and RC prohibition state texts are long lookup tables in the manual and are not reproduced here.
Check it against the live device. A points list tells you what the controller can expose; the unit in front of you may differ by firmware or installed options. Easy BACnet scans a network for BACnet IP devices from an Android phone, reads every object on the UTY-VBGX BACnet Gateway for VRF and exports what it actually has to Excel — free. New to BACnet? Questions about the Fujitsu UTY-VBGX BACnet Gateway for VRF
How many BACnet points does the Fujitsu UTY-VBGX BACnet Gateway for VRF have?
This list has 55 BACnet objects: 8 analog inputs, 8 analog outputs, 11 binary inputs, 7 binary outputs, 1 device, 10 multi-state inputs, 10 multi-state outputs. The exact set on a given unit depends on its firmware, installed options and configuration.
Which Fujitsu UTY-VBGX BACnet Gateway for VRF BACnet points are writable?
25 of the 55 objects accept a write. Points marked Command have a priority array: a write holds until it is released, so release it back to automatic when you are done.
Where is the official Fujitsu UTY-VBGX BACnet Gateway for VRF BACnet documentation?
The source is BACnet Gateway for VRF System UTY-VBGX Instruction Manual (PICS & User Manual), revision r1.3.2 (2017), published free by Fujitsu at https://www.bacnetinternational.net/catalog/manu/fujitsu%20general%20limited/UTY-VBGX%20PICS%20&%20User%20Manual%20eng%20r1.3.2.pdf.
What are the minimum BACnet points to integrate the Fujitsu UTY-VBGX BACnet Gateway for VRF?
Start with BO 100101 IU_rr_uu_Operation_Setting (Start/stop the indoor unit); MO 100101 IU_rr_uu_OperationMode_Setting (Command the operating mode); AO 100101 IU_rr_uu_SetTemp_Setting (Setpoint command); MO 110101 IU_rr_uu_FanSpeed_Setting (Fan speed command); BI 110101 IU_rr_uu_Operation_Status (Confirm run status); MI 100101 IU_rr_uu_OperationMode_Status (Read back the mode); AI 110101 IU_rr_uu_SpaceTemp_Status (Room temperature); BI 100101 IU_rr_uu_Exists_Status (Shows whether the unit is present); BI 150101 IU_rr_uu_Error_Status (Indoor unit fault); MI 150101 IU_rr_uu_ErrorCode_Status (Error code (1-255) when a fault is active).
How do I enable BMS control of the Fujitsu UTY-VBGX BACnet Gateway for VRF?
No enable point is described. Remote controller prohibition is a 65-state multistate (IU_rr_uu_RC_Prohibit_Setting, or Batch_RC_Prohibition_Setting for all units) whose states combine filter reset, start, start/stop, mode, setpoint and timer lockouts, plus All. Outdoor units have a ForcedOff setting.
How do I check these points on the real UTY-VBGX BACnet Gateway for VRF?
Scan the network with a BACnet IP browser such as Easy BACnet, open the device and compare its object list with this table. Anything missing is usually an option that isn't installed or a point that is disabled in the controller's configuration.
