Accuenergy Acuvim II with AXM-BIP BACnet IP module BACnet points list
Updated 28 October 2026
The AXM-BIP clips onto an Acuvim II power meter and serves its readings over BACnet IP with no mapping needed. It exposes 71 metering Analog Inputs (voltage, current, power, demand, energy, THD), plus Binary Inputs, analog-input values and pulse counters for any AXM-IO modules fitted. Everything is read-only.
This page lists 135 BACnet objects for the Accuenergy Acuvim II with AXM-BIP BACnet IP module — 0 of them writable — with each object’s type, instance number, name, engineering units and access. It is re-typed from Accuenergy’s own free documentation, linked below.

BMS integration notes: Accuenergy Acuvim II with AXM-BIP BACnet IP module
Set the meter's second serial port to 38400 baud, 8N1 and protocol 'Other', give the AXM-BIP an IP address from the front panel, then set the device instance and UDP port in its web page. Read total power, imported energy, demand, power factor, current and voltage.
Minimum points to map
The short list most integrators start with — enough to run the unit from a BMS. Map more as the job needs.

Network setup
- Module defaults: IP 192.168.1.254, mask 255.255.255.0, gateway 192.168.1.1.
- On the meter set S03 BPS2 = 38400, S31 Parity2 = 1NO and S34 Protocol 2 = Other; IP settings are on the NET pages (N02-N06), then reset with N09 NET REST.
- BACnet settings are in the module web page (Settings > Communications > BACnet-IP, default admin password 'admin'): enable BACnet, UDP port (default 47808), device instance, network ID and device name.
- Foreign device registration to a BBMD is supported (BBMD IP, port, time to live 5-1440 min).
- Reset the module after any network or BACnet change.
Watch out for
- Duplicate names at AI 5/AI 9 and AI 51/AI 52; map by instance, not by name.
- I/O module objects read nothing unless that AXM-IO module is fitted.
- Change the default web password; the web page controls the BACnet settings.

Integration notes
- The manual has no access column; all objects are measurements or input states and are listed here as read-only.
- BI 1-28, AI 1001-1008 and AI 2001-2028 only carry data when the matching AXM-IO module (IO11, IO21, IO31, IO12, IO22, IO32) is installed.
- The manual prints 'Average Line Voltage' for both AI 5 and AI 9, and 'Phase B Export Active Energy' for both AI 51 and AI 52. By position, AI 5 is probably the average phase voltage and AI 51 the phase B import energy; check on site.
- AI 42 and AI 43 (reactive energy) are printed with kWh units; reactive energy is normally kvarh.
- Power factor objects (AI 27-30) and Load Type (AI 33) have no units in the table.
- The manual's intro says the AXM-BIP tracks 78 measurements and 28 I/O values; its table lists 71 metering AIs.
Check it against the live device. A points list tells you what the controller can expose; the unit in front of you may differ by firmware or installed options. Easy BACnet scans a network for BACnet IP devices from an Android phone, reads every object on the Acuvim II with AXM-BIP BACnet IP module and exports what it actually has to Excel — free. Questions about the Accuenergy Acuvim II with AXM-BIP BACnet IP module
How many BACnet points does the Accuenergy Acuvim II with AXM-BIP BACnet IP module have?
This list has 135 BACnet objects: 107 analog inputs, 28 binary inputs. The exact set on a given unit depends on its firmware, installed options and configuration.
Which Accuenergy Acuvim II with AXM-BIP BACnet IP module BACnet points are writable?
None of the listed objects are marked writable in the source documentation. The source has no read/write column, so this is inferred from object type.
Where is the official Accuenergy Acuvim II with AXM-BIP BACnet IP module BACnet documentation?
The source is BACnet for Acuvim II Series Power Meter, User's Manual (1040E2102 (V2.0.1)), revision 2023-08, published free by Accuenergy at https://www.accuenergy.com/wp-content/uploads/Acuvim-II-Power-Meter-BACnet-User-Manual-EN.pdf.
What are the minimum BACnet points to integrate the Accuenergy Acuvim II with AXM-BIP BACnet IP module?
Start with AI 18 Total Active Power (Total real power, kW); AI 40 Import Active Energy (Imported energy total, kWh); AI 34 Active Power Demand (Real power demand, kW); AI 26 Total Apparent Power (Total apparent power, kVA); AI 30 Total Power Factor (Three-phase power factor); AI 13 Average Current (Average phase current, A); AI 9 Average Line Voltage (Average line-to-line voltage, V (see notes)); AI 1 Frequency (Supply frequency, Hz).
How do I check these points on the real Acuvim II with AXM-BIP BACnet IP module?
Scan the network with a BACnet IP browser such as Easy BACnet, open the device and compare its object list with this table. Anything missing is usually an option that isn't installed or a point that is disabled in the controller's configuration.
