Indoor pool dehumidifier (air handler) controller · BACnet points list

Seresco CommandCenter Dehumidifier Controller - BACnet Objects 5.8.0 BACnet points list

Updated 28 October 2026

Short answer

Seresco's CommandCenter controller uses one BACnet object list across its NE/NV pool units, OA make-up air units and the NP/NW series; the source marks each object as standard or optional per series. Sensors are AI objects, setpoints and analog outputs are AV objects, and component status, modes, commands and alarms are BV objects. The BMS can override any sensor by setting it Out Of Service and writing its value, with a heartbeat timer to fall back to the unit's sensors. Command objects must first be enabled at the unit.

This page lists 137 BACnet objects for the Seresco CommandCenter Dehumidifier Controller - BACnet Objects 5.8.0 — 27 of them writable — with each object’s type, instance number, name, engineering units and access. It is re-typed from Seresco’s own free documentation, linked below.

BMS integration notes: Seresco CommandCenter Dehumidifier Controller - BACnet Objects 5.8.0

Integration in brief

Enable the BACnet command objects at the unit first. Then use Blower Enabled (BV 512) for start/stop and Occupied (BV 516) for occupancy, and write the room temperature, humidity and pool setpoints (AV 0-2). Monitor the blower contactor, the mode BVs, return air conditions and the alarm count. If the BMS supplies sensor values, set the heartbeat timer (AV 515) so the unit falls back to its own sensors.

Minimum points to map

The short list most integrators start with — enough to run the unit from a BMS. Map more as the job needs.

ObjectNameWhyAccess
BV 512Blower EnabledStart/stop the blower; stopping it stops the unitWrite
BV 516OccupiedOccupancy command (active = occupied)Write
AV 0Room Temperature SetpointRoom air setpoint, 55-95 °FWrite
AV 1Humidity SetpointRoom RH setpoint, 35-85 %Write
AV 2Pool Temperature SetpointPool water setpoint, 60-108 °F (pool units)Write

AI 0Return Air HumidityReturn (space) air RH, %Read
AI 1Return Air TemperatureReturn (space) air temperatureRead
AV 518Alarm CountAlarm count; nonzero means an alarmRead

Enable & remote start

Command objects (BV 512-526) only work after they are enabled at the unit itself. BV 512 Blower Enabled starts and stops the main blower; stopping it stops all other components except a pool unit's auxiliary pool heater. BV 516 Occupied replaces the built-in occupancy scheduler. BV 524/525 A/C and Heat Override take over room temperature control and stay in effect until the unit restarts.

Heartbeat & communication loss

AV 515 Heartbeat Timer (0-600 s) applies when the BMS supplies sensor values. With a value above 0, the unit returns to its own sensors if no BACnet message arrives within that time, so BMS-written sensor values must be refreshed within the timer even if unchanged. 0 disables the fallback.

Sensors & values from the BMS

Any AI sensor can be taken over by setting its Out_Of_Service property to True and writing Present_Value from the BMS. Set AV 515 above 0 so the unit falls back to its installed sensors if BACnet communication stops.

Integration notes

Check it against the live device. A points list tells you what the controller can expose; the unit in front of you may differ by firmware or installed options. Easy BACnet scans a network for BACnet IP devices from an Android phone, reads every object on the CommandCenter Dehumidifier Controller - BACnet Objects 5.8.0 and exports what it actually has to Excel — free. New to BACnet? Start with what a BACnet points list is and what the object types mean.

Questions about the Seresco CommandCenter Dehumidifier Controller - BACnet Objects 5.8.0

How many BACnet points does the Seresco CommandCenter Dehumidifier Controller - BACnet Objects 5.8.0 have?

This list has 137 BACnet objects: 27 analog inputs, 28 analog values, 82 binary values. The exact set on a given unit depends on its firmware, installed options and configuration.

Which Seresco CommandCenter Dehumidifier Controller - BACnet Objects 5.8.0 BACnet points are writable?

27 of the 137 objects accept a write. Points marked Command have a priority array: a write holds until it is released, so release it back to automatic when you are done. The source has no read/write column, so this is inferred from object type.

Where is the official Seresco CommandCenter Dehumidifier Controller - BACnet Objects 5.8.0 BACnet documentation?

The source is Seresco BACnet Objects (BACnetObjects_5.8.0), revision 2012-01-03, published free by Seresco at https://serescodehumidifiers.com/documents/commandcenter/BACnetObjects_5.8.0.pdf.

What are the minimum BACnet points to integrate the Seresco CommandCenter Dehumidifier Controller - BACnet Objects 5.8.0?

Start with BV 512 Blower Enabled (Start/stop the blower; stopping it stops the unit); BV 516 Occupied (Occupancy command (active = occupied)); AV 0 Room Temperature Setpoint (Room air setpoint, 55-95 °F); AV 1 Humidity Setpoint (Room RH setpoint, 35-85 %); AV 2 Pool Temperature Setpoint (Pool water setpoint, 60-108 °F (pool units)); BV 0 Blower Contactor (Blower running); BV 260 Dehumidification Mode (Unit is dehumidifying); AI 0 Return Air Humidity (Return (space) air RH, %); AI 1 Return Air Temperature (Return (space) air temperature); AV 518 Alarm Count (Alarm count; nonzero means an alarm).

How do I enable BMS control of the Seresco CommandCenter Dehumidifier Controller - BACnet Objects 5.8.0?

Command objects (BV 512-526) only work after they are enabled at the unit itself. BV 512 Blower Enabled starts and stops the main blower; stopping it stops all other components except a pool unit's auxiliary pool heater. BV 516 Occupied replaces the built-in occupancy scheduler. BV 524/525 A/C and Heat Override take over room temperature control and stay in effect until the unit restarts.

Does the Seresco CommandCenter Dehumidifier Controller - BACnet Objects 5.8.0 need a BACnet heartbeat or have a communication timeout?

AV 515 Heartbeat Timer (0-600 s) applies when the BMS supplies sensor values. With a value above 0, the unit returns to its own sensors if no BACnet message arrives within that time, so BMS-written sensor values must be refreshed within the timer even if unchanged. 0 disables the fallback.

Can the BMS supply sensor values to the Seresco CommandCenter Dehumidifier Controller - BACnet Objects 5.8.0?

Any AI sensor can be taken over by setting its Out_Of_Service property to True and writing Present_Value from the BMS. Set AV 515 above 0 so the unit falls back to its installed sensors if BACnet communication stops.

How do I check these points on the real CommandCenter Dehumidifier Controller - BACnet Objects 5.8.0?

Scan the network with a BACnet IP browser such as Easy BACnet, open the device and compare its object list with this table. Anything missing is usually an option that isn't installed or a point that is disabled in the controller's configuration.
