Integra Metering CALEC ST II (BACnet MS/TP) BACnet points list
Updated 28 October 2026
The CALEC ST II is an energy calculator that takes a flow meter and a matched pair of temperature sensors and works out energy, power, flow, volume and mass. With the BACnet MS/TP interface it exposes up to 16 Analog Inputs and two relay Binary Outputs. Which AIs exist depends on the meter version (Volume, Mass, Flow, BDE, TGR, BDV, DTF).
This page lists 18 BACnet objects for the Integra Metering CALEC ST II (BACnet MS/TP) — 2 of them writable — with each object’s type, instance number, name, engineering units and access. It is re-typed from Integra Metering’s own free documentation, linked below.

BMS integration notes: Integra Metering CALEC ST II (BACnet MS/TP)
Read energy (AI 0), power (AI 8), flow (AI 9) and the warm, cold and difference temperatures (AI 11-13). Check which AIs your meter version has before mapping. Set the AI units once if the defaults (kWh, kW, m³/h, °C) do not suit the BMS.
Minimum points to map
The short list most integrators start with — enough to run the unit from a BMS. Map more as the job needs.
| Object | Name | Why | Access |
|---|---|---|---|
| AI 0 | AI-0-Energy | Energy total; kWh by default | Read |
| AI 8 | AI-8-Power | Thermal power; kW by default | Read |
| AI 9 | AI-9-Volume Flow | Measured flow; m³/h by default | Read |
| AI 11 | AI-11-Temperature warm | Warm-side temperature | Read |
| AI 12 | AI-12-Temperature cold | Cold-side temperature | Read |
| AI 13 | AI-13-Temperature difference | Warm minus cold, K | Read |
Network setup
- Default device instance 1111111; the device object name, location and description are writable.
- BACnet MS/TP master or slave, 9600 to 115200 baud.
- Device object defaults: max-master 127, max-info-frames 1, APDU timeout 10000 ms, 5 retries.
- No segmentation; max APDU 480. COV, time sync and UTC time sync are supported.
Watch out for
- Not every AI exists in every version; e.g. AI 4 and AI 10 (mass) only on Mass meters, AI 15 only on TGR.
- AI present values can only be written while out-of-service is TRUE.
- AI units are writable; changing them changes the values the BMS reads.

Integration notes
- Object availability per version is from the document's object table and is shown in each description; points with no version list exist in every version.
- Units shown are the defaults; each AI's units can be changed within an allowed list (energy, volume, mass, power, flow and temperature units).
- The two auxiliary inputs take pulses from extra meters such as water or oil meters.
- BO 0 and BO 1 are relays 1 and 2; the document gives no names for them beyond 'Relay 1' and 'Relay 2'.
- The device object reports vendor name 'Aquametro AG' and vendor ID 431.
Check it against the live device. A points list tells you what the controller can expose; the unit in front of you may differ by firmware or installed options. Easy BACnet scans a network for BACnet IP devices from an Android phone, reads every object on the CALEC ST II (BACnet MS/TP) and exports what it actually has to Excel — free. New to BACnet? Questions about the Integra Metering CALEC ST II (BACnet MS/TP)
How many BACnet points does the Integra Metering CALEC ST II (BACnet MS/TP) have?
This list has 18 BACnet objects: 16 analog inputs, 2 binary outputs. The exact set on a given unit depends on its firmware, installed options and configuration.
Which Integra Metering CALEC ST II (BACnet MS/TP) BACnet points are writable?
2 of the 18 objects accept a write. Points marked Command have a priority array: a write holds until it is released, so release it back to automatic when you are done.
Where is the official Integra Metering CALEC ST II (BACnet MS/TP) BACnet documentation?
The source is CALEC ST II - BACnet MS/TP, BACnet Protocol Implementation Conformance Statement (VD3-125f e), revision 2018-02 (dated 2018-02-05), published free by Integra Metering at https://www.bacnetinternational.net/catalog/manu/integra%20metering%20ag/3125f-e-calec-st-ii-bacnet-pics-document.pdf.
What are the minimum BACnet points to integrate the Integra Metering CALEC ST II (BACnet MS/TP)?
Start with AI 0 AI-0-Energy (Energy total; kWh by default); AI 8 AI-8-Power (Thermal power; kW by default); AI 9 AI-9-Volume Flow (Measured flow; m³/h by default); AI 11 AI-11-Temperature warm (Warm-side temperature); AI 12 AI-12-Temperature cold (Cold-side temperature); AI 13 AI-13-Temperature difference (Warm minus cold, K).
How do I check these points on the real CALEC ST II (BACnet MS/TP)?
Scan the network with a BACnet IP browser such as Easy BACnet, open the device and compare its object list with this table. Anything missing is usually an option that isn't installed or a point that is disabled in the controller's configuration.
